Carlsbad, CA USA  November 25, 2002 - Today, Thomson ISI ResearchSoft announced a partnership agreement with Openly Informatics Inc.—developers of the 1Cate OpenURL link service. 1Cate—1 Click Access to Everything—is an OpenURL compatible link-server designed for libraries, integrating a library's holdings and subscriptions through a single intuitive interface.

Under the agreement, ISI ResearchSoft will distribute 1Cate as part of the company's new package of Web-based solutions. Well known for their desktop products EndNote®, ProCite® and Reference Manager®, ISI ResearchSoft is adding 1Cate to its line of solutions for the research community. 1Cate allows libraries to maximize awareness and usage of its numerous databases, holdings and subscriptions to their users. Users can follow 1Cate links, which seamlessly connect all the information resources in the user's library.

Hosted by Openly Informatics, 1Cate also offers a unique level of service that frees library professionals from set-up details and software maintenance.
