With one click, references move quickly and easily from IEEE databases to EndNote, ProCite, and Reference Manager

For Immediate Release

Carlsbad, CA, USA -
March 12, 2003
- Today, Thomson ISI ResearchSoft and IEEE announce a new connectivity between the ISI ResearchSoft bibliographic software products and the IEEE Xplore® online delivery system. Now, users of the IEEE Xplore system can export reference information into EndNote®, ProCite® and Reference Manager® with one click of the "Download Citation" button.

EndNote, ProCite and Reference Manager are the industry's leading bibliographic software products, and are used by over a million researchers worldwide. These products simplify research by searching Internet databases, organizing personal reference collections, and producing bibliographies instantly in over 750 output styles.

"IEEE Xplore is a dynamic, easy-to-navigate online delivery system designed to help IEEE members and customers access our publications for their research," said Barbara H. Lange, IEEE Director of Publications Product Line Management and Business Development. "We are delighted to make it easier for our users to export pre-formatted bibliographic data for their future reference needs."

"We are pleased to add IEEE to the growing list of popular database services providing direct export to our products." said David Kochalko, President of ISI ResearchSoft. "The seamless export of references from IEEE to EndNote, ProCite and Reference Manager shortens the path from primary research to published papers."
